Bus users are invited to have their say on how popular routes could be improved.

Transport for London (TfL) is reviewing three bus routes in Sutton, the S4, 407 and 627, as part of the contract renewal process, which takes place every five or seven years.

Carshalton and Wallington MP Tom Brake is urging people to take the opportunity for improvement and take part in the consultation.

He said: “We need a high quality, reliable and accessible bus service for a well functioning transport network in Sutton.

“This consultation is an opportunity to have a say in shaping the future of the bus network in Sutton.”

Comments made by the passengers will help TfL understand changes that could affect future demand on buses including new housing and retail sites and changes to school or hospitals.

If the review results in proposed changes TfL will carry out further online consultations.

Comments asking for specific changes should be accompanied by relevant background information.

Tfl will be open for comments until Friday, July 12, by email on STEngagement@tfl.gov.uk
