A South Croydon special school is to hold a family fun day today.

The Army and the London Fire Bridge will each be paying a special visit to St Giles School, in Pampisford Road, for the fundraising event.

A children's show, a DJ, stalls, games, activities, a BBQ and ice cream will also be on offer at the fun day, which runs from noon to 3pm tomorrow.

Entry is free for children but donations can be made on the door.

The day will see the launch of the school's campaign to raise money to provide accessible outdoor learning activities for its pupils.
