Councillor Jan Mason, chairwoman of the council’s leisure committee, said: "Good luck to the Epsom and Ewell squad and well done to all the young people who also took part in the trials and coaching sessions.

"The P&G Surrey Youth Games is a great opportunity for young people to try a new sport, or to improve their skills by taking part in high quality free coaching sessions.

"It is a great weekend for everyone and the young people really enjoy themselves, make new friends and get to try a sport that they may not have had a go at before."
