Crowds converged as Carshalton caught carnival fever at the weekend.
Carshalton Carnival's theme this year was 'under the sea' and featured a parade made up of various marine themed efforts, from a troop of people dressed up as Spongebob Squarepants to a Titanic-style float.
People also enjoyed a traditional fair with attractions including falconry, dog trials, stalls, a bouncy castle and much more.
The event, jointly organised by Carshalton Round Table and the Rotary Club of Carshalton and Wallington, got even higher takings than last year's thanks to the weekend's sunny weather.
Carshalton Carnival Committee chairman Graham Catterall said: "Takings are up about 30 per cent which is great for the charities we support like St John Ambulance, Radio marbsden and local Scout groups."
