Fire fighters were called to a car fire in Tadworth that was believed to have been caused by faulty electrics in the vehicle.
The fire, which started just before 12.30am, spread to a tree and fence while parked up in Fleetwood Close
Epsom crew manager Darren Howland said: “Two fire fighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put it out.
“The driver had driven the car just a few hours before.”
