A multi-national group of musicians and actors will be staging a unique show in Croydon.
The diverse group known as The Croydonians, who are all Croydon based, will tell their stories to the soundtrack of an original musical score.
Members of The Croydonians are born in Equational Guinea, India, Nigeria and England, but now call Croydon home.
The performance at Matthew's Yard, will kick off the borough's celebration of national Refugee Week, and is supported by Croydon Council with the help of arts organisations Perpanata and Soundmix.
The organisations use theatre and music as a way of helping refugees and asylum seekers to integrate themselves into the community.
Councillor Tim Pollard, cabinet member for children, families and learning, said: "It’s always fantastic to see original new performances being staged in town.
"I hope that lots of people will head down to see this show to experience for themselves just how much local talent we have in Croydon."
The performance will begin at 7pm on Monday, June 17. Tickets are £2 on the door.
