Police have released images of a man sought in connection to an indecent act performed in front a woman sleeping on a Croydon train.
The woman was travelling between East Croydon and Purley Oaks stations on Sunday May 19 when a fellow passenger woke her at around 12.15am to inform her of the act.
British Transport Police reviewed CCTV footage and believe the perpetrator boarded the train at East Croydon and left it at Purley Oaks at 12.45am.
Detective Sergeant Bob Stokoe said: "This was understandably a distressing experience for the victim, as well as other people who may have witnessed the incident.
“If you recognise the man in the pictures, or have any information about the incident, then we really need to hear from you.”
