Hundreds of residents will get together across the borough on Sunday in celebration of the Big Lunch.
The annual event which takes place nationwide, aims to bring neighbours and communities together over a shared meal.
Street parties are taking place across Croydon, including in Central Parade, New Addington, where there will also be face painting, glitter tattoos and a bouncy castle, in addition to a kids fancy dress competition and a pie eating competition.
People are also allowed to bring their own picnics to the event, which takes place between 11am and 4pm.
More information on the New Addington event can be found by searching New Addington Big Lunch on Facebook.
