Kingston Grammar School students were chosen as the first junior crew to get their hands on the royal barge Gloriana.
More than 20 students got the chance to row the boat that led the Jubilee River Pageant and carried the Olympic torch down the Thames last summer.
Students were chosen from the school’s boat club and got the opportunity to row from Ditton Skiff Club up to Hampton Court Bridge, then down to Raven’s Ait and back to the Skiff Club.
