Five men have been charged with burglary after they were arrested by police in New Malden on Thursday afternoon.
John Ballingall, 28, Dean Jackson, 25, Stuart Holman, 25, Edmundas Danielkus, 20, and Daniel O'Brien, 27, all from Middlesex, were charged by Kingston police yesterday afternoon at the custody suites in Sutton police station.
They are set to appear at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court this morning.
The men were arrested near St James' Close in New Malden after police officers flooded the area.
- Police have been warning residents about a series of burglaries across New Malden over the past few weeks with 21 residential burglaries between May 14 and last Sunday, May 19.
Yesterday morning Surrey Police officers were called to a home near the junction of Salisbury Road and The Avenue, Worcester Park, after reports of a suspected burglary. But the call-out proved to be a false alarm.
