A series of free bike maintenance sessions will be held later this month in an attempt to boost the number of people cycling in Wandsworth.
Wandsworth Council has organised the sessions for people who have no previous experience of looking after their bike.
Classes include a brief talk on how a bike works, and common problems to watch out for.
There will also be advice on how to fix punctures, adjust seats, fit lights and bells, replace brake pads, tighten spokes and maintain chains and gears.
The two hour classes will be held in Battersea from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, May 24, Wednesday May 29, Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31.
Participants must be Wandsworth residents aged 16 years or older.
