The Children's Trust in Tadworth, which runs the country's largest rehabilitation centre for children with acquired brain injuries, has appointed a new director of fundraising.

Claire Wood Hill worked previously at Sense, a charity supporting deafblind people, and Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Ms Wood Hill said: “I'm so pleased and excited to be joining the Children's Trust. I have long been an admirer of the charity’s work and am looking forward to being part of the team at an exciting time in their development."

Trust chief executive Dalton Leong said he was delighted to welcome Ms Wood Hill to the senior management team.

Mr Leong said: "She brings a wealth of experience in all fundraising areas and has leadership qualities and a style well-suited to the caring ethos at The Children’s Trust.

“I am confident that Claire will help develop our fundraising strategy to ensure we enable more children, young people and their families to be supported.”
