A charity walk in Painshill raised £500 to support homeless and vulnerable people in Surrey.
About 100 people participated in the “step out for homelessness” walk on May 12 in aid of Transform Housing and Support.
The charity’s chief executive Paul Mitchell said: “I would like to thank everyone who came along on Sunday to enjoy the beautiful landscape at Painshill in bright sunshine.
“It was great to see so many people showing their support for this important cause.”
He also thanked Painshill Park Trust for its support.
Among the walkers in Painshill’s landscape garden were Surrey’s High Sherriff Deputy Lieutenant Dr Helen Bowcock and the mayor of Guildford Councillor Diana Lockyer-Nibbs.
After the walk, families were invited to take part in games and other activities.
Mr Mitchell said: “Many of us would like to think that homelessness if not a problem in Surrey. Sadly this is not the case, and Transform provides homes for hundreds of people each year who have nowhere else to go.
