Tickets are selling fast for Jools Holland and his rhythm and blues orchestra next week.

The evening features the musical maestro himself as well as Gilson Lavis, Roland Gift and guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.

Ruby Turner, who has been touring with Jools Holland for more than 20 years, says the show will get audiences on their feet.

She says: "The Fairfield is a great venue. People can expect an exciting show, new music and a rollocking good time.

"We had our first show in Canterbury the other night and it was fantastic. Let the good times roll I say.

"I was told it was our 20th anniversary of joining the band this year which is just crazy. I wasn’t counting but there you are.

"You can tell that I enjoy it as I didn’t even know it had been so long. I love making music and performing. It will be a great show."
