A mother of three from Walton who suffered from breast cancer has raised more than £14,000 for charity.

Sara Bradley and her team have raised money for breast cancer charity Walk the Walk by organising a cream tea afternoon and taking part in the London Moonwalk on May 11.

Katie Clack, a close friend of Mrs Bradley, said: “We were all in total shock when she was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump last year.

“She’s gone through the horrific process of chemo and has always stayed the most positive, thoughtful and fun-loving person we know and love.”

Last month, she was given the all-clear to the relief of her family and friends, said Miss Clack.

She added that Mrs Bradley persuaded 22 people, including her husband, to participate in the Moonwalk wearing bras and morph suits to raise awareness of breast cancer.

Miss Clack said: “Hopefully we can now help other people who are experiencing similar circumstances.”
