Police are hunting a man in connection with a sex attack on a woman as she walked home from a bus on Streatham High Road last month.

Lambeth police are appealing for the help of the public in identifying a man in connection with the incident, near the junction with Becmead Avenue and Ockley Road in Streatham.

The victim, a 26 year-old-female, was followed by a male suspect on a bicycle whilst she was walking home on Thursday April 11 after alighting a bus on Streatham High Road.

At 10pm she was walking down Becmead Avenue at the junction of Ockley Road, when the suspect approached, grabbed and sexuality assaulted her.

The victim managed to alert local residents and the man then ran off.

Police would like to speak to a man who is described as a white male of medium build, aged 40-50 years old.

He had bushy eyebrows, greying hair and no facial hair.

At the time of the incident he was wearing rounded glasses, a bright yellow high-visibility vest over a fleece, a dark coloured helmet.
