This year Emma's Bubble Trust are hosting our 5th annual Royal Marsden Hospital to Brighton bike ride. "Ride for Emma" was started by Emma Brandon's friends who wanted to organise a challenging event, after the teenager sadly passed away in late 2007 from a rare form of Hodgkins Lymphoma. 5 years on and the event has gone from strength to strength, this year playing host to nearly 40 people of all ages and abilities, who will be cycling along the 46 mile route. This year as a first the riders have been asked to raise a minimum of £100.

For a small local charity donations really help with our cause and in our case the money is pumped straight back into the local community. We're currently providing money to decorate part of the new Teenage Cancer Trust unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital, the place Emma received treatment and a place close to the charities heart.

Powered by the strap line "Every Moment Matters Always", the charity has partnered with 2 local businesses Bikes Direct and Bike Beans Cycle Cafe to help spread the word about the good work that we're doing. We're organising local training rides every Saturday until the event. Please feel free to join us, meeting at the Bike Beans Cycle Cafe in Ashtead Village, every Saturday at 10am.
