Acts in 'The Voice' were given just a 45-minute masterclass with their coaches before singing in last weekend's Battle Rounds.

Axed duo De'Vide - Barny Holes, 24, and Lex Flowers, 24 - admitted they were disappointed with their mentor Jessie J and her co-writer Claude Kelly, who requested they sing Drake's 'The Best I Ever Had' for their big performance, despite them not feeling comfortable with the chosen song.

Barny told the Daily Star newspaper: "We had about 30 to 45 minutes with them and Claude said we were unprepared for the session which was unfair.

"In hindsight we should have changed the song because it was complex for us. They expected results straight away. I got the impression that Jessie had given up on us even before we had performed.

"Thinking back there was an element of us thinking we should have had more time. More time would have been nice."

Even after getting last minute extra coaching during rehearsals, the boys lost out against Danny County and revealed Jessie, 25, didn't even offer them her mobile number to call if they needed extra support.

Hopeful Nate James has also lashed out at the 'Price Tag' hitmaker after she chose Lovelle Hill over him, admitting he wishes he had picked Danny O'Donoghue to coach him instead.
