Two youths have been arrested after members of a gang attacked a shop worker.
Police were called to a disturbance at the Co-op, in Mollison Square, Wallington, at about 9pm on April 25.
The shop's alarm had been set off and staff had been forced to shut the store.
During the incident a member of staff had been punched in the face.
Two 14-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the incident, one on suspicion of wounding, affray and shoplifting, the other on suspicion of violent disorder, aiding and abetting assault and shoplifting.
They have been bailed to return to Sutton police station in June.
