The Mayor of London is meeting people at a community reception this week.
Businesses, voluntary organisations and faith groups from Croydon and Sutton will be at the reception which is taking place in City Hall, in central London.
Minority ethnic groups, LGBT communities and disabled people are also attending at the reception.
Boris Johnson said: "Our community receptions are an informal opportunity to meet with Londoners from every corner of the capital and I am delighted to welcome local people from Croydon and Sutton to City Hall.
"We want to harness the enthusiasm and dynamism of local communities and businesses in every borough.
"We all have a role to play in the future prosperity of our city and need to work together to face the challenges ahead."
The reception is taking place on May 14 from 6pm-8pm.
