More than 20 cheerleading hopefuls auditioned for a place on the Crystals team at the weekend.
The Crystals, cheerleaders for Crystal Palace football club, are on the lookout for new recruits and held an audition session in Beckenham on Sunday.
Fitness coach Claire Eglinton put the girls through their paces with a short fitness test before the group was split in half and taught part of a routine.
Bronia Gosling, head coach of the Crystals, said they will let the new cheerleaders know this week whether or not they made it.
She said: “We had 20 girls attend the audition and they all did a great job.
“Everyone who attended worked hard and we are very grateful they took the time to come down.”
The Crystals have been a hit since they formed in 2010. They started out with four members but are now one of the most famous groups in the country.
