Britain's first autistic May Queen will be crowned during celebrations steeped in tradition in Banstead on Saturday.
Francesca Warren, 10, will be crowned as May Queen at midday at the Banstead Village May Queen Fayre in All Saints Orchard.
Francesca, who has lived in Banstead all her life, has chosen for the fayre to raise money for the Banstead branch of the YMCA.
A 2,000-strong parade down the high street will start at 11.30am followed by other festivities. For more information visit: bansteadmayqueen.co.uk.
