A dragon landed in Leatherhead on Saturday ahead of St George’s Day on Tuesday.
St George roamed the town with his dragon as part of celebrations including Morris dancing, live music and a spring market.
Mole Valley Council said there was also a medieval prince of fools, face painting, St George-themed craft workshop and hunt the shield competition.
Andrew Bircher, the council's corporate head of service, said: "This is always a great opportunity for the community to come together and support the local economy."
