An African drums workshop took place as part of The Colliers Wood Spring Arts Festival.
The workshop, led by Ghanian master drummer Sebastian Ahorlu, was held at St. Joseph's Hall, Colliers Wood on Saturday.
Participants of different ages and cultural backgrounds played the Djembe and Dumdum drums together.
Organiser Keith Spears said: "I can't think of many better ways of lifting the spirits after a long cold winter than taking part in an African drumming workshop."
A participant, Liz Newbery, said: "The perfect antidote to life on the computer. I'll be back for more."
There will be another African Drumming Workshop held on Saturday April 27.
