The Nine Elms development has been listed as the biggest regeneration project in the UK.
Planning Magazine named Nine Elms on the Southbank as number one in it's list of 100 biggest projects, marking the extent of work taking place.
It is the first time the development has been included in the listings.
The huge transformation project includes the new US Embassy and Battersea Power Station, covering more than 25 investment sites.
It was revealed the Dutch Embassy is also considering moving to the site, as well as China.
Helen Fisher, programme director, said: "This is a great achievement for Nine Elms on the South Bank as it demonstrates the extent of the work planned and shows the industry that we are open for business.
"Development is well underway but it is a long term project and we hope to remain in the listings for many years to come"
