Pupils from Norwood Grove pre-school have planted a tree in the grounds of the school to commemorate the Queen's golden jubilee.

Principal Joan Runcorn said: "We thought it would be a nice, fun idea for the children of Norwood Grove pre-school to plant a cherry tree to watch it grow and flourish over the coming years and given that it was presented by King Charles II in the seventeenth century this felt a fitting thing."
