Christians took time out last week to reflect in a labyrinth created in the run up to Easter.
Visitors were invited to weave on a loom and think about creation at St George’s Christian Centre in Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead.
The reflective space had poetry and paintings on the wall by parishioner and artist Hilary Perona-Wright.
Before it opened, Sharon Seal, Ashtead Parish’s director of pastoral care, said: "Our labyrinth will mirror the stages of creation in the Bible.
"It will be a pathway on the floor with no dead-ends and which leads you on a journey.
"There will be places on the path to stop and reflect on the different portions of creation."
