Tesco store opening delayed
The opening of a new Tesco Express store on Lower Road has been delayed.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "We have delayed the opening of the store slightly whilst we resolve minor issues at the site. We will update the local community as soon as we have a new confirmed date."
The shop was due to open on Tuesday, April 9, with Children’s charity Jigsaw4U guests of honour.
Store Manager, Mark Conroy added: "My team and I team are looking forward to welcoming customers into the store and apologise for any inconvenience this delay may have caused."
The One Stop store will remain open until the Express store is opened.
