Last Saturday I happened to stray into Morrison’s Sutton for a replacement condiment.
Amongst the compulsory Christmas Musac, tons of mince pies and pallets of chocolates and sprouts, I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of Scouts and their leaders assisting with bag packing at the check outs.
On behalf of the general public I would like to thank them for their assistance. It is good to see the aims and teaching of Scouting put to practical use.
I am not sure which group they represent but it is good to see Scouting alive and well, long may it continue. This is needed more than ever in today’s society.
