In preparation for The Big Story season at Battersea Arts Centre, the Wandsworth Guardian is asking people to submit their own interesting tales.

The Big Story runs from March 2 until April 10 and is a season of work devoted to the age old art of storytelling, with spoken word artists such as Polarbear, Jon Haynes and Little Bulb performing.

One event, My Story, encourages people from the borough to submit their own interesting tales, whether they be funny anecdotes, tragic tales, painful separations or joyful reunions.

They are currently looking for people to take part and give renditions of their story at the venue on March 6 and 7.

In the meantime, we are looking for you to tell us your story for publication in the paper before the event.

If you have an interesting tale to tell then email it to Graham Moody at gmoody@london.newsquest.co.uk by 12pm on Monday, February 22, but keep it short and no more than 150 words.

Those that get published in the paper will receive a pair of tickets to any show in the Big Story season subject to availability.

If you want to apply to tell you story as part of My Story, then email mystory@bac.org.uk.
