Two comedians will be giving audiences a sneak preview of their Edinburgh Festival shows at the cornerHOUSE arts centre on Friday.
Sian Hutchinson has written and will perform her one woman show Clutching at Straws - a comedy about a young American woman’s observations on her British counterparts at work and play.
The show enjoyed a succesful run at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden last year and the cornerHOUSE performance will help raise fund’s for Hutchinson’s Edinburgh trip.
Chris Fitchew will also be performing on the night giving the audience a taster of his one-man show Fitchew and Friends in which he plays a number of characters who appear in his show about different comic disciplines from sitcom, stand-up, a play, sketches and a comedy song.
Hutchinson says: “Edinburgh is a very exciting but expensive experience and we both would appreciate the public’s support. There will also be a raffle where great prizes can be won.”
The evening is not suitable for under 12s as there is strong language.
