One of the most successful shows to have ever come out of Ireland is back at Fairfield Halls.

International smash hit Spirit of the Dance has been seen by more than thirty million people worldwide, with up to ten performances taking place at various venues around the world at one time.

There are four resident shows in America and two touring groups that appear at state fairs, casinos and theatres and with more than 350 dancers and 75 technical staff the show is a hit wherever it goes.

It has won nine global awards, including best choreography and best international production and smashed box office records in fifteen different countries since its first performance at the Bristol Hippodrome in September 1996.

Irish in origin it features a blend of traditional culture and new dance pieces that highlight the changing taste of world dance styles.

The world champion dancers of the Irish International Dance Company sound like a runaway express train and their frenzied skill and military precision sends shivers down your spine as not one shoe steps out of line as their thunderous feet perform as one.
