Doctor Christian is at it again, solving the nation’s health problems one sympathetic stare at a time. In Tuesday night’s The House of Hypochondriacs, the Doc aimed to cure three “hypochondriacs” of their obsession with ill health.
The NHS wastes an estimated £2 billion annually on those who have self-diagnosed with everything from blood clots to brain tumours.
Twitter was torn into three camps. The first thought that these chronic worriers should just snap out of it and stop wasting our precious NHS funds:
The second despaired over the apparent lack of sympathy for people with mental health problems, including health anxiety:
And the third had an epiphany; we all need to stop Googling symptoms every time we have a headache:
