It doesn’t matter that she isn’t real. Everyone’s excited about the new Katniss Everdeen waxwork that’s been unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London.
Looking like she’s just stepped out of the movie, Katniss is seen with her archery kit and dressed in her hunter’s outfit with her hair styled into a signature side plait.
If you’re wondering why is there a fictional character from the Hunger Games series at Madame Tussauds, that’s because there are a legion of fans out there who are just dying to see her.
Katniss Everdeen, played by Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, is a plucky heroine in trilogy by Suzanne Collins who is fighting for survival in a rather dystopian world.
And any chance to rub shoulders with this popular super heroine is worth taking.
While she may be made from wax, some were completely bowled over by how real and life-like she looked.
The only problem was… she couldn’t manage to crack a smile for those mandatory selfies. Even the three-finger salute didn’t help.
