Legendary guitarist Wilko Johnson is celebrating the launch of his autobiography with a talk and a special gig.

The DrFeelgood guitarist's official autobiography Looking Back On Me is written and collated with music writer Zoë Howe.

Wilko will be returning to his old haunt The Half Moon Putney for a talk and Q&A session on the book, followed by a gig.

Looking back On Me is being hailed as a rock 'n' scrapbook and oral history, marking the first time Wilko has told his story no holds barred.

The guitarist shares his recollections on everything from his Essex childhood to his time as a hippy, to the wild days of playing with DrFeelgood and Ian Dury and The Blockheads.

Readers will get the chance to see exclusive images of the musician throughout his life, as well as an array of anecdotes from fans including Robert Plant, Alison Moyet, JJ Burnel and Gavin Martin.

The book also features a foreword by Mick Farren.

He currently plays with the Wilko Johnson band, alongside Norman Watt-Roy on bass and Dylan Howe on drums.

Wilko also recently made his acting début in Game of Thrones, playing the part of the silenced Ilyn Payne.

Fans will get the chance to participate in the Q&A session, as well as get their copies of the book signed.

A traditional Half Moon gig will follow, although guests will need separate tickets for both events.
