Foodies will be in their element at Wimbledon Park on the Bank Holiday weekend.
Wimbledon Park Food Festival is back for second helpings after a successful outing in 2014.
From Saturday, August 29, through to Monday, August 31, people will be able to get their hands on fresh produce from more than 40 stallholders, including burgers, retro ice creams and artisanal beers.
On top of that, there’s the chance to pick up new skills with demos and talks, plus live music and entertainment for children including garden games, a storyteller, animal petting, face painting and vintage rides.
Highlights include sushi demonstrations from Japanese cookery teacher and author Reiko Hashimoto, Indian cookery from Masterchef quartfinalist Rani Pathare and food from around the world.
Wimbledon Park Food Festival is from 10am to 5pm Saturday, August 29, to Monday, August 31. Tickets cost £5 adults and it’s free for children. Go to fantasticbritishfoodfestivals.com
