A vintage fashion fair is being held at the Battersea Arts Centre grand hall on Sunday, November 20.

Anita's Vintage Fashion Fairs have been attracting retro fans in London for over eight years, staging events regularly in Battersea and Notting Hill.

There will be over 60 exhibitors showcasing exclusive vintage clothing, accessories and textiles dating from 1800 to the 1980s.

The prestigious fairs attract VIP attendee's from the fashion industry with designers, magazine editors and celebrities turning up to snap-up a bargain.

This will be the last fair of 2011 and host Anita is giving away free goodie bags and festive treats to the first 70 visitors.

Those looking to update their look can pay a visit to see expert hair and make-up artist Jo Stringer and Lipcote, who will be giving mini hair and retro beauty sessions.

It costs £6 for make-up and £10 for hair, or £15 for both to recreate that iconic retro look.

Alterations booth Recycle & Sew are on hand to make adjustments to any clothing and making sure everyone looks spot-on.

The day will be captured by resident artist Magdalen Dixon, known for her elegant pictures of beautiful women.

Prices start at £5 and make unique gifts for Christmas.

And those needing to rest their feet after a hard day's shopping can whet their appetites at a vintage cafe on site.

Hungry shoppers can munch on homemade cakes, English tea and other refreshments whilst taking in the surroundings of the grand hall.

Anita's Vintage Fashion Fair is on at the Battersea Arts Centre Grand Hall, Lavender Hill on November 20.

Tickets cost £4, £2.50 for concessions and students. Children under 16 go free.
