You might think once you've seen one comedian you have seen them all but that certainly is not the case with Pete Firman.
Firman is the UK's leading comedy magician and will be headlining a night of comedy at Croydon Clocktower next Thursday.
Among his bag of tricks he has been known to hammer a nail into his nose, put a mouse in a blender and pull a maggot out of his eye, so you can pretty sure you're going to see something you haven't seen before.
Also on the bill is host Fergus Craig, Sara Pascoe and George Ryegold.
Craig, from television's Star Stories and Radio Two’s Out To Lunch, won the Hackney Empire best new act award in 2009.
Pascoe has starred in television's Free Agents and The Thick of It, while newcomer Ryegold presents his surgical stand up routine.
Clocktower Comedy, Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street, May 6, 8pm, £7.50. Call 020 8253 1030 or visit croydonclocktower.org.uk.
