The Sugar Babes are coming to Wimbledon.

No not whichever three of Heidi, Keisha, Amelle, Siobhan, Mutya and Jade make up the line-up these days, but instead two girls who believe Sir Alan Sugar to be their long lost dad and go on a quest to find him.

Starring Kate Pilkington and Philippa Fordham, who also devised the show, Sugar Babes is a comedy extravaganza that revolves around Deborah and Crystal, who have independently been searching the globe to uncover the truth behind their mothers' lives and lies.

Their search brings them together and realising they are related they join forces to try and get to Sir Alan but it proves no easy task.

Along the way they get guidance from an evangelical preacher, a soupcon of therapy and a chance at a Jewish talent competition but just as they get prepared to reach their goal their mothers reveal a dark secret that turns the whole search on its head.

The farce, packed with singing, dancing and storytelling, is part of the Fresh Ideas season at New Wimbledon Studio that showcases the best of new writers, directors and theatre companies.
