Enjoy an evening of jazz with like-minded musicians at Jenny Green's jazz jam later this month.

Bring your instruments to The Green Room at the Leatherhead Theatre for an opportunity to play with professionals and have an impromptu jam.

Whether you are singer or musician or simply want to listen to some great jazz, head down for an evening of free entertainment in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Jenny Green, a professional singer who hosts the event, said: "The idea is that people come in and enjoy the ambience and music. We have a professional band that play and then I do three or four songs. Then we open the floor up for any musicians or singers. It's very friendly and welcoming and I think that's why its such a success. Our audience has also grown over the years of people who just want to come and listen. There aren't many venues in the area where you can go and listen to some really nice jazz with a good atmosphere and a glass of wine."

Singers should bring two sets of music in their key, and players their instruments.

Drum and bass will be provided by the house band.

Entrance is free but donations are welcome.
