The annual British Curry Awards will be spicing up Battersea this month.
Over 1,600 restaurateurs, VIP guests and celebrities are expected to turn up and see the coveted awards handed out at Battersea Evolution.
TV celebrity chef James Martin is hosting the event, now in it's seventh year.
The awards have gained the nickname 'Britain's Curry Oscars' from David Cameron, with a shortlist of 100 restrauants selected for the battle of the Balti's.
Indian Moment in Northcote Road has been nominated for the prestigious Best in London award, which went to the Bombay Brasserie in Kensington last year.
There will be regional awards handed out, as well as newcomer of the year and chef of the year, with a shortlist of 100 piped to win.
In the lead up to the awards individual chef's have been competiting for the chef of the year award by taking part in a cook-off at the London School of Hospitality and Tourism.
The 2011 British Curry Awards are on at Battersea Evolution, Chelsea Bridge Entrance in Battersea Park on November 28.
Doors open at 6.30pm.
