In a little more than a week's time Clapham Common will once again play host to a massive music festival – which is fast becoming legen-dairy.

Ice makers Ben & Jerry's return to the park on Saturday and Sunday for their seventh consecutive Sundae on the Common.

And organisers, who admit to being udderly ecstatic about the event, have revealed they hope revellers without a ticket will still be able to gain entry on the door – but only on Sunday.

Unfortunately tickets for Saturday sold faster than Ben & Jerry's tubs on a hot summer day but as the Wandsworth Guardian went to press, tickets for Sunday remained on sale.

The second day of the two-day music festival boasts Maximo Park as the headlining act. They will be ably supported by Gary Numan, The Duke & The King, Little Comets and Sound of Rum among others.

Organisers are optimistic that festival-goers and ice cream lovers wanting to join the fun on Sunday will be able to buy a ticket on the door.

Any lucky reader with a Saturday ticket will be treated to music from headliners Ocean Colour Scene, as well as multi-platinum rock outfit Ash, Fun Lovin Criminals and a host of other great acts.

As ever, there will be fun-filled activities for everyone, including fairground attractions, social activism and plenty of hoof tapping. And of course, the traditional petting farm and less traditional bare toe wrestling will be back by popular demand.

This year flavour fans will be able to sample the entire range of Ben & Jerry's Fairtrade flavours including the new Coconutterly Fair – a mouth-watering mix of chocolate ice cream with a coconut caramel swirl and chocolatey covered coconut caramel crunch pieces.

Tickets cost £17 with children under five getting in for free.
