Next Friday borough artists will be throwing open their doors for the ARThouse Open Studios event that runs until July 5.

Artists will be tidying away their easels and packing up their dirty overalls to give the public an insight into what goes into creating their work.

Painters, sculptors, printmakers and ceramicists will be welcoming visitors over the 10-day period, with art-lovers able to meet the artists and discuss their work.

Galleries in Richmond, Twickenham, Hampton, Teddington and Barnes will be open on different days throughout the event and all studios are free to visit.

We have picked out some of the highlights of the ARThouse Open Studios event.
