The mayor of Elmbridge and an actress from the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory film enjoyed a day of pampering at a Walton beauty academy.
Councillor Mike Bennison and Julie Dawn Cole showed their support for ISIS Beauty Academy on Saturday, June 8, the spa’s fifth anniversary, and were given a taste of its services.
The academy, which offers a range of level two and three programmes, demonstrated beauty treatments and techniques including nail art, foot and hand massages and Indian head massages, as well as giving advice about careers in the beauty industry.
Carolyne Cross, owner and principal of the academy, said all the courses were ideal for women who were already working and wanted to retrain.
