AMENDMENTS TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES IN THE BOROUGH OF EPSOM AND EWELL IN HOLLYMOOR LANE (D2211) EPSOM

AMENDMENTS TO WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES IN THE BOROUGH OF EPSOM AND EWELL IN HOLLYMOOR LANE (D2211) EPSOM
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE "The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Amendment of Waiting Loading and Unloading Prohibition and On-Street Parking Places Orders) (Amendment No. 2) Order 201-" under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3), 4, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 53 of and Part IV of Schedule 9to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), the purpose and effect of which is to:-
1. Amend "The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Consolidation of Free On-Street Loading Bays and Free On-Street Goods Vehicle Loading Bays) Order 2018" so as to:- (a) provide aloading bay, to operate at anytime, in that length of Hollymoor Lane (D2211)

Epsom, which will be situated at the eastern kerb-line of Hollymoor Lane at its junction with Sefton Road. The loading bay will be 12.6m in length; (b) provide that the usual exemptions e.g. Emergency vehicles, vehicles for works on or adjoining those lengths of roads, the maintenance of those roads and the services in them would apply to the aforementioned loading bay referred to above (N.B. the usual exemptions for blue badge holders shall not apply to this restriction).
2. Make certain drafting amendments to the following Orders which will not affect the operation of the prohibitions and restrictions on the ground:-
(a) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Revocation and Consolidation of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Prohibition and Restriction) Order 2018;
(b) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Consolidation of Free Street Parking Places and Revocation) Order 2018;
(c) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Consolidation and Revocation of Free Street Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) Order 2018;
(d) The Surrey County Council (Various Roads in Epsom and Ewell) (Consolidation and Revocation of Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools) Order 2018;
(e) The Surrey County Council Various Roads in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell (Consolidation of Permit Holders Only) Order 2018; and
(f) The Surrey County Council Hookfield and Lindsay Close Controlled Parking Zone in the Borough of Epsom and Ewell (Consolidation of Waiting Restrictions and On-Street
Parking Places) Order 2018.
A copy of the proposed Order, a plan showing the length of road to which the Order relates, a Statement of the Council'sreasons for proposing to make the Order and a Statement of the Council's guidelines on the acceptance of objections to Traffic Regulation Orders may be inspected free of charge at (i) Epsom Town Hall, The Parade, Epsom, KT18 5BY, during normal office hours; (ii) Ewell Library, Bourne Hall, Spring Street, Ewell, KT17 1UF, during normal opening hours; and (iii) Reception, Surrey County Council, Hazel House, MerrowLane, Guildford, GU4 7BQ between 10am and 4pm. If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or make representations thereto, you must send the grounds for your objection or representations (including any in support) either in writing to Transport Development Planning Team, Room 365, Surrey County Council, County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, KT1 2DN or by email at
