DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 200b The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.4) Traffic Order 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 08 April 2019 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order will be to designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in:



Chelsham Road, South Croydon Outside No. 5 and partially across the _Ifrontage of No. 3_

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 12 April 2019, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard



Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1EA.



5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 203 The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. K11) Traffic Order 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order would be to:



(a) Revoke the disabled parking places outside No.50 Bredon Road, Croydon, outside No.8 Broomhall Road, South Croydon, outside No.22 Buller Road, Thornton Heath, outside No.9 Berne Road, Thornton Heath, outside No.50 Park Road, South Norwood, outside No.65 Shepherds Way, South Croydon, outside No.18 Ramsey Road, Thornton Heath, outside No.2A Marion Road, Thornton Heath, outside No.41 Wharncliffe Gardens, South Norwood.



(b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 GILLETT ROAD & VICINITY, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas main, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Gillett Road, Elm Road, High Street and Nursery Road, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Gillett Road will be closed between its junction with High Street, Thornton Heath and the south-western boundary of Nos. 17 and 19 Gillett Road;



b) Parking in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" as necessary to facilitate the works and keep the diversion route clear.



3. Whilst the works are taking place the diversion route for traffic will be via High Street, Thornton Heath, Nursery Road and Elm Road.



4. The Order will come into operation on 15 April 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately four days between 8am and 4pm each day. However, the Order will remain



in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SAXON ROAD & VICINITY, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to remove a fire hydrant, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Saxon Road and adjacent roads in South Norwood.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Saxon Road will be closed between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the south-eastern boundary of No. 74 Saxon Road;



b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of Saxon Road between its junction with Whitehorse Road and the south-eastern boundary of Nos. 318 to 320 Whitehorse Road;



c) Further parking suspensions will be applied as necessary to the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice to facilitate an accessible diversion route for traffic.



4. Whilst the works are taking place the diversion route for traffic would be via Whitehorse Road, The Crescent, Northcote Road, Dagnall Park and Saxon Road.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

A copy of the proposed Order and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not



to make the Order, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/PT/K11 by 03rd May 2019.



6. The Order is intended to introduce disabled parking bays in roads where difficulty is being experienced in the parking of disabled persons' vehicles due to heavy demand for parking in those areas. The ordedr would also revoke those disabled parking bays which are no longer required in order to make best use of kerb space.
