LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14(1) MILL GREEN ROAD, MITCH AM JUNCTION

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that In order to enable Installation of electrical cable and also facilitate a check point for the arrival and departure of vehicles from the Redraw Homes development site, It made an Order the effect of which Is summarised In paragraph 3 below.



2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 11 March 2019, and will remain in force for 18 months.



3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily in Mill Green Road:-



? prohibit all vehicular traffic between its junctions with Goat Road and Wolseley Road;



? close the footway adjacent to No. 48 to the cul-de-sac; and



? introduce waiting restrictions 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions 'no loading at any time'



4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via (A237) London Road, Goat Road and vice versa.



5. The effect of The Sutton (Mill Green Road, Mitcham Junction) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) (Temporary Restriction of Waiting & Loading) (Temporary Footway Closure) Order 2018, where a notice of making was advertised on 26 April 2018 are hereby revoked.



6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



7. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate utility works and because the works are being executed on or near the carriageway it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.



2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 1 April 2019, with works expected to take 3 days to complete. However the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.



3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close Merebank Lane at its junction with Stafford Road.



4. An alternative route for vehicular will be via Stafford Road, The Chase, Capel Avenue, Godalming Avenue and vice versa.



5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
