LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -

(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*; and

(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to in London Road, Hackbridge outside the new Hackbridge Primary School development site introduce:-

a. 'at any time' waiting and loading restrictions double yellow lines and kerb markings; and

b. 'at any time' school keep clear markings.

3. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.

4. 5. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton has approved under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to provide a Pelican crossing in London Road, Hackbridge outside the new Hackbridge Primary School development the overall length of the Pelican crossing and regulatory zig zag markings will be 40.43 metres;

Associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping and overtaking at all times, would be placed on the carriageway either side of the pedestrian crossing, extending up to a maximum of 16.58 metres either side of the crossing.

DISABLED PARKING PLACE AND WAITING RESTRICTION AMENDMENTS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*; and
(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*.
2. The principal objectives of the Orders are; (1) to introduce disabled bays to provide a parking facility for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and revoke those parking bays that are no longer required; (2) revoke double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions over parts of Bath House Road due to change of road ownership (3) to ensure that the Orders match conditions as they exist out on site.

3. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) provide new disabled person's parking places, 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a disabled person's badge may park at any time, at the following locations:-

(i) outside Nos. 9 to 10 Alberta Avenue, Cheam;

(ii) outside Nos. 9 to 17, 32 Albion Road, Sutton (in place of part of an existing permit holder parking bay);

(iii) outside No. 4 Godalming Avenue, Wallington;

(iv) outside Nos. 7 to 8 Saltash Close, Cheam; and

(v) outside No. 70 Wigmore Road, Carshalton (in place of an existing footway parking bay);

(b) revoke existing disabled persons parking places at the following locations:-

(i) outside No. 103 Clarence Road, Sutton; (will revert back to a permit holders Parking bay);

(ii) outside No. 105 Love Lane, Morden;

(iii) outside No. 14 Shrubland Grove, Worcester Park; and

(iv) adjacent to No. 49 New Road in Spencer Road, Mitcham Junction;

(c) revoke existing 'at any time waiting restrictions from that part of Bath House Road which is no longer public highway; and

(d) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to the Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) Order 2017 and to the Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 so as to more accurately represent the existing layout to match conditions as they exist on site.

Note: there will be no change to the restrictions as currently marked and signed on-street as a result of this amendment.
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders (and of the Orders that would be revoked or amended by the proposed Orders) and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm on Monday to Friday.

6. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of London Borough of Sutton, as part of this proposal, and by the powers conferred under section 15 of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 is resolving removal of the footway parking exemption from the following locations:-
(a) outside No. 10 Fellowes Road, Carshalton;

(b) outside No. 48 Huntingdon Gardens, Worcester Park;

(c) outside No. 542 Middleton Road, Carshalton;

(d) outside No. 25 Westcroft Road, Carshalton;

(e) outside No. 70 Wigmore Road, Carshalton as defined in item 3 (a) (v) above; and

(f) outside No. 178 Winchcombe Road, Carshalton.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the following Orders on 4 February 2019 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended

2. (a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. 9)

Order 2019; and
(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 9) Order 2019.
3. The general effect of the Orders would be to amend certain map-based tiles to the schedule attached to The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) Order 2017 and to The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 to match conditions as they exist on site.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 18 February 2019 and of the Orders that will be revoked or amended by these Orders, the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the Orders may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court
