CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED REVOCATION OF ANN'S PLACE CAR PARK, TAMWORTH PLACE, CROYDON

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CHURCHILL ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a fire hydrant exchange, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Churchill Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in Churchill Road from the common boundary of Nos. 71 and 73 Churchill Road to the common boundary of Nos. 83 and 85 Churchill Road.



3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.



4. The Order will come into operation on 07 January 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately four days, between 8.00am and 5.00pm. However, the Order will remain



in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.4) Traffic Order 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 17 December 2018 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order will be to revoke Ann's Place off-street car park in Tamworth Place, Croydon, from the off-street parking places Order. The car park is due to close due to a re-development of the site.



3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 02 January 2019, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.



4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Order Making Section, Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House,

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED ONE-WAY WORKING AND CYCLE CONTRA FLOWS -BEAUMONT ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD AND WOODSIDE AVENUE AND WOODSIDE ROAD, CROYDON

The Croydon (Prescribed Routes) (No.5) Traffic Order 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 17 December 2018 made the above Traffic Order under Section 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce one-way working in the roads/lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice, with an exemption to apply to pedal cycles as detailed.



3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 24 December 2018 and of all associated Orders can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the repair of a defective manhole, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Lansdowne Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Lansdowne Road will be closed outside no.15.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 04 January 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water mains replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in the above said roads.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



(a) Aldrich Crescent will be closed at its junction with Montacute Road;



(b) Bothwell Road will be closed at its junction with Montacute Road;



(c) Grenville Road will closed at its junction with Montacute Road;



(d) Heneage Crescent will be closed at its junction with Montacute Road;



(e) Shaxton Crescent will be closed at its junction with Montacute Road;



(f) Wolsey Crescent will be closed at its junction with Montacute Road;



(g) Any other temporary traffic management measures as required to facilitate the water mains replacement works in the above



said roads.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on the 14 January 2019 and the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
