CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED VARIOUS STREETS IN SOUTH CROYDON - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED VARIOUS STREETS IN SOUTH CROYDON - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains replacement works in the South Croydon area, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to:



(a) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;



(b) temporarily close any adjoining streets to those mentioned in the Schedule to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;



(c) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures, parking suspensions or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required;



(d) introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate the gas mains replacement works.



2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress in those streets or lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to



(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or



(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.



3. Whilst the provisions of the Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles will be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.



4. During the prohibition referred to in paragraph 2 above, displaced traffic will be diverted via local streets as appropriate.



5. The Order will come into operation on the 21st September 2018 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months although it is anticipated the works will be completed within 2 months.



(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002. (Access for frontagers will be maintained as far as possible whilst the work proceeds).

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS DAGNALL PARK, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a bridge examination, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Dagnall Park, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Dagnall Park, between its junctions with Saxon Road and Newhaven Road.



3. Whilst the Order remains in force access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and vehicles involved in carrying out the works.



4. The Order will come into operation on 04 October 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - Princess Road The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. D28) Traffic Order 20-

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order would be to:



(a) relocate the existing disabled parking place in Princess Road outside No. 15a to a point 3.5 metres south-west of its current position;

(b) designate new a parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in Princess Road outside No.15:

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS NORBURY COURT ROAD, NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Norbury Court Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Norbury Court Road will be closed outside no.69.



3. Whilst the Order remains in force access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and vehicles involved in carrying out the works.



4. The Order will come into operation on 05 November 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 11 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be



to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Oakfield Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Oakfield Road will be closed outside No.4.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Lennard Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 24 September 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS FELL ROAD, PARK LANE SLIP ROAD, PARK STREET AND ST. GEORGE'S WALK, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works related to the Queen's Square development, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic movements in Fell Road, Park Lane slip road, Park Street and St George's Walk, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Park Lane slip road between its junctions with Smith's Yard and Park Street;



(b) no person shall proceed along the footway in Park Street;



(c) no person shall cause any vehicle proceeding in Fell Road to travel in a direction other than from north to south;



(d) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in St George's Walk;



(e) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Park Street.



3. Whilst the restrictions remain in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via local roads/alternative footways, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 05 October 2018 for a maximum duration of 18 months. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

Outside No. 15 and partially across the frontage of No. 14b (replaces a proposed P&D/permit bay). e proposed Order and of all related Orders, of the Council's

statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

5. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/CH/D28 by 11 October 2018.



6. The Order is intended to introduce/relocate disabled parking bays in roads where difficulty is being experienced in the parking of disabled persons' vehicles due to heavy demand for parking in those areas.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS HOMER ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a street cabinet and power connection they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Homer Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Homer Road will be closed at its junction with Gladeside.



3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be via Gladeside, Brookside Way, The Glade and Homer Road, as appropriately signed.



4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said works;



(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.



5. The Order will come into operation on 24 September 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days between 8am and 6pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new water connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Innes Yard, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Innes Yard, at its junction with Whitgift Street.



3. The Order will come into operation on 17 October 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



(Essential access will be maintained whilst the works proceed)
